We're looking for writers who can produce music reviews, artist interviews, or artist profiles.

We're also looking for photographers willing to meet up with artists in and around the New York City area.

Plateau Magazine is non-genre specific but we focus on Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, Spoken Word, and Rock... To contribute e-mail us!

Plateau Magazine is a quarterly magazine dedicated to giving exposure to those independent "underground" musicians who are so rarely highlighted in the mainstream media. Based in New York we're taking advantage of our unique position in one of the cultural capitals of the world to seek out and spotlight artists that aren't able to compete in an industry where major corporate labels fight over what will sell the most. In this atmosphere creativity and talent are secondary, and people who simple love to produce music are left behind to struggle for their art.

Plateau is seeking to level this playing field by giving attention to those who produce music based on a desire to express themselves, and not simply make a quick buck. These musicians of substance - not empty flash - will fill up each and every page of each and every issue of Plateau magazine as we attempt to raise the profile of those who understand that music is supposed to inspire.
